hey, you are new to the board and boom you have an ars sig. i figured you to be one of the masadonians you guys have working for you. see the list i got up there? 50% of those are from countrys your program wouldnt accept traffic from. hows that grab ya?

now, if another program unleashed that kinda bullshit over on the boards of ars, how would that go over?

I have to disagree with that for several reasons.

1 ARS is a good sponsor so there is nothing wrong with promoting them in your sig, you'll send webmasters to a solid program.

2 What's the difference with traffic cash? they bought tons of sigs also I don't hear you about that.

3 If a person looks at my sig rather then what I have to say, believe me I could care less if he/she takes me seriously or not, because I sure as hell won't take that person seriously if he/she lacks the ability of something as basic as knowing how to read.

4 Last but not least ARS is one of the companies fighting Acacia and therefor I think they deserve our support so besides the fact that they pay for it, I would have them up there even if they did not.

As you may or may not know I am very much against the companies that sold out to Aciacia. There are plenty of sigs for Epic Cash on this board. Does that mean I should put all these webmasters on ignore because I don't agree with their sponsor?

Hell no! everybody can promote what he/she thinks is best, and that's what makes it great cause my opinion doesn't matter any more then yours and it certainly does not mean that person has nothing useful to say.

I am speaking to the dozens of ARS sigwhores who pollute threads with smilies so they can get paid for that post. They are an insult to this board and each of us everytime they post. ARS has sprung them on us because they are paying them per impression or post or however. ARS is a great sponsor but this marketing idea is tarnishing everybody else who may be flying the same sig as witnessed by the ignore lists and comments you see in this thread. Its the way ARS is paying for their sigs that is the problem, not ARS as a sponsor that is the cause of all this. Even if I worked for ARS as the CFO, I would get rid of my sig before I posted as I will unfortunately get ignored by default because of this horrible marketing campaign.

Serious Poster + ARS button in sig = clusterfuck.

I think what you state is exaggerated. I read plenty of threads here on a daily basis and those smiley posts appear mostly in those "would you hit it" kind of threads.

On serious threads they are mostly absent.

Also I was here before ARS launched this and the ammount of only smiley posts was not les sthen it is now.

So unless you refer to the 90% bullshit posts here meant only to entertain what you say just does not hold up IMO.

Gee, thanks for setting me straight on that. What was I thinking it was the do-nothing smilie posting ARS sig whoring for $100/month people on everyone's ignore list that was the issue here.

Sounds like you need to be set straight about more then just that, if you really think my ARS sig only makes me 100 bucks a month.

Again, I have no problem with people selling and making as much money with their sigs as possible and I do not want to lump everyone with an ARS sig as a brain-dead smilie posting whore, but the fact is that it gets hard to discriminate when you are insulted thread after thread by smilies attached to an ARS sig and so you get lumped in by default as a sigwhore because of your sig. Note two people in this thread who have you on ignore even though you don't seem at all like a sigwhore.

I think its funny being called a Sig whore by you when I have over a year and less posts than you...
