I found the "Levels" options in Photoshop tonight and have never really used in except in a tutorial or in passing. Tonight I was playing around with it and tried to apply it to some pics. I went back through years of pics I saved but never used because for some reason or anohter they blew ass. I improved 90% of them with just the Levels pallete alone.

Wonderful find for me.

Anyone else find something that has been there all along but never really messed with it, then once they did don't understand how they got by without it?

edit - Doesn't have to be in PS.

Yeah I am always finding new things my favorite software can do. Its kind of like christmas.

I love finding new functions in the software I use! But then I normally don't have a use after I find it!

Cuz I don't run into another project that ever really needs it!

Yeah that's a good point. In my case, I had a ton of pics from Vegas that really sucked. It was so bad I considered them basically worhtless. Levels brought them into a whole new "light" for me!
