My favorites are Al Dimeola and Jason Becker.

I can almost always tell Vai or Satch just by listening. Nobody I know of ever worked an Eventide like Vai.

Nonetheless, I prefer Satch's style. I'm still trying to figure out how to play Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing.

As far as performers, anyone ever see Buckethead? I sat second row for the Toronto GNR show and that fucker was ON. Too bad nobody knows who he is.

I remember reading a lot about Buckethead years ago but never heard any of his playing.

With Vai and Satriani - it depends what mood I'm in.
