What is the best STATS program?
I am looking for opinions on what is the best stats program:
Webalizer AwStats Urchin etc... Any recommendations?

Urchin is really nice stats.. but costs $$$.
Awstats is good, and free so it's my choice. |

i use webalizer and awstats, free put aw out front though..

awstats is what we run at CybeHost after testing both that and Webalizer, I've found awstats to be much better

I'm using awstats and exteremtracker....even if aw shows me 14k uniques and extreme only 8k or st like that.

I decided to use awstats too.. After trying many of them..
It's output is very informative and once set up it works great. Only thing I've missed is tracking user paths. Like: %17 index => %10 =>tour1 => %5 => join => %10 =>tour1 => %5 => exit site => %7 =>exit site Sawmill has that function, but it doesn't show "users" accurately (counting bots, attacks etc as users). Also Webtrends has that but it's too pricey just for that.. |
