I always think that. Whenever someone around here says they got something stolen, I'm like where did have it last and they end up finding it

bufferover 05-24-2004 01:59 PM

no not at the gym, she's a med student and she had practice in cutting corpses (dunno how to put it nicely LOL) so they're not allowed to take anything with them.

It would have been an option to leave her stuff at home I agree with ya, and she feels pretty stupid about letting her stuff sit in a room that's easily accessible for a lot of ppl but then again, ppl should just keep their hands off other ppls shit.

Ah well we'll see what the insurance will say, I'm getting a new phone for myself today so I'll buy one for her too.

Mr. Marks 05-24-2004 10:50 PM

That damn suck!:(

looks like the insurance company won't pay coz there was no forced entry or robbery in question... seems like you first have to be stabbed a couple of times before it's worth anything

ah well, we're gonna take it up with the university, IMO they're responsible.

She's got a new phone already, first thing we arranged for today :glugglug

uhuh Rdam memories... thats where my first foon was stolen...

Naughty 05-25-2004 05:42 PM

Happened to me 2 months ago, I was insured, went to the police to report it stolen. When everything was arranged with KPN hours later. The cops called, some girl found it and returned it, zero calls made with it. I bought the girl flowers and she was very happy with it, as was I with the phone back.

Then, one week later, my g/f's phone got stolen, she wasn't insured and she had JUST continued her subscription two weeks before and got the new phone. She's screwed now. No insurance, new phone and 2 year's worth of subscription money to pay.

Luckily I had an old but nice phone (8210) for her to borrow.

Still sucks though.

I can't stand the fact that some loser went thru all her stuff in her purse and stole her phone... it makes me sooooo fucking mad!

I seriously wanna break stuff

luckily we're insured for about everything so she'll have a new one in a couple of days... it just pisses me off.

She probably lost is and is telling you someone stole it!!! If I was a thief I would have just stole the whole purse, not just the cell phone? Make Sense...

bluedevil 05-26-2004 12:03 PM

In Seaside 2 years ago my girlfriends 3 friends all got their phones stolen in 2 days...one girl got it back and got it stolen the same night.

It's ridiculous...dont even have one anymore...

:feels-hot

Depends where you are. In Holland most of the insuraces work the same.

Lesson nr 1 : read the rules before going to the police ect.

nr 2: If it got stolen, someone grabbed the bag from your shoulder. You didn't loose the bag out of your site ect ect.

nr3 : with waterdamage, you got hit by someone while driving on your bike and you fell in the water, or it got wet while it was raining ( depends on the rules)

Hit me up if you need help with that. Phone insurances suck!! But I learned an awefull lot by working for one.

yeh probably same reason why 3 other phones from students in her class got stolen and why a few wallets were emptied at the same time :321GFY

I dunno about you but my relationship isn't based on lies... now go play with your Fleshlight

well my GF was naive enough to call the insurance company right away and tell them exactly what happened. Fat chance they'll pay up after that story.

Tania 05-27-2004 12:39 AM

fucking bastards they sucks :BangBang:

pradaboy 05-27-2004 03:19 AM

got a letter from the insurance company... they say they won't pay coz the phone was left behind unsupervised.

Ah I love to write angry letters back :glugglug

That sucks!!! I don't understand why people still have insurance on there phones in Holland, 80% of the claims get rejected.

hova 05-27-2004 05:51 AM

Those insurance company always tell you that they will not pay, but after a couple of letters and phonecalls they will probably pay. That happened to me a couple of times now.
