Not pretty good, Tampa Bay is a kick ass team.

I'm a big Flyers fan, but I think this game could easily go either way. Especially with Esche around to blow things.

Either way, this game should be great .. And it'll decide the Stanley Cup this year. I don't think the Flames can beat either of the Easten Conference teams. We'll see I guess.

Hey now, no Esche hating!
He is part of the reason why we've gotten this far, ya know.

I'll say this once...it would sicken me if a team like Tampa Bay wins or even makes it to the Cup finals.

Tampa is not a hockey town. It's fucking 90 degrees outside. It's just as bad when the Florida Panthers made it to the Cup finals in '96. I don't know why these clubs exist...except of course because they are obviously making money on the bandwagon fans in Tampa who are into the novelty of having a team that actually did something this year in the playoffs.

Calgary/Philly, and pretty much every team above the Mason Dixon line deserve the respect, unless of course it's a franchise that moved from a legit hockeytown (example Dallas Stars).

Tampa still hasn't earned the respect to be considered a legitimate hockey town. Maybe 10-20 more years in the league where they have paid their dues, then I'll consider them a legit hockey town. Until then,

I agree to a certain extent. Tampa is NOT a hockey town. No place in the SE United States is there a "hockey town". Hockey town's are in the NE. They are in Canada. I'm from a "hockey town".

I do however think that the management behind the Bolts have recently got their shit together. Having the money to start a team and recruit people is valid. They have the talent, they can make it to the finals. If they do? They deserve it. Saying that just because the team is in TAMPA means that they don't deserve the Cup? Kind of a dumb statement Just MO

My defintion of a legit team is one that would never, ever move. You think a hockey club from Philly, Toronto, Detroit would ever move? You watch...Tampa will suck again to the point that it's a money pit and will relocate to another town...

I'm sure we can get REALLY, REALLY cheap travel accomodations from Philly fans! It's called counting your chickens before they hatch. Philthy fans are notorious for it.

San Diego anyone?
