I've only lived here for 4 years, but in the main thread, other GFYers were more informed than myself. Apparently Florida has a huge variety of snakes. The one thing it took me a while to get use to is the little lizards running around everywhere, they get into the house all the time. I use to freak out, now I just chill with them. :1orglaugh They entertain my cat.

I'm going to put snakes in my wife's flower beds. Maybe that will get her to stop spending all my money on stupid plants that die every winter and then have to be repurchased the next year.

She'll be back to normal in no time ^_^

I'm already back to normal! Just a little swollen, no big deal...or ill after affects other than being annoyed by the "HMO bastards" in the ER. I think the worse part was getting bit and not being sure wtf it was at the time. I'm sure if I hadn't been wearing my headphones I could have avoided getting bit in the first place, but I appreciate your concern..... You are a doll! Funny thing is, I've never been afraid of snakes... (pic of me as a kid and yes I am a dork.) My old roommate had a Boa and I use to answer the door with that thing around my neck and freak people out. :1orglaugh
