FEAR!: Ventriloquist Dummies & Clowns
Widdall due respect to the thread titled " Have you ever had a fist fight with a clown " I had to recall how a friend of mine wants a Ventriloquist dummy for a birthday present.
There's a store that sells them on Hollywood Blvd. I had wanted one as a kid but it was FORBIDDEN because EVERYBODY was afraid of ventriloquist dummies and clowns. I think it was because of that Twilight Zone episode where the dummy kept after somebody and killed them or they turned into the dummy or some weird ass shit like that. I grew up with Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smith. They were funny. But nowadays you try bringin' a ventriloquist dummy around and people will shoot you. Same with clowns. I grew up with Bozo and Emmet Kelly but nowadays you bring any clown around other than Ronald McDonald and you might find your ass the center ring of the local emergency ward. Why do they scare us? |

Oh crap! Those really scare me! Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and seeing one of them sitting in a chair across the bedroom . . . staring at you. Or, worse yet . . . You wake up in the middle of the night and see one lying in your bed next to you with his head on the other pillow, staring right at you with that goofy, woodcarved face. |
