    Getting $1500 for fucked laptop

    recently had a flood that ruined my laptop and im getting $1500 for it to be replaced. I was looking on Dells site and heres the first one I came up with...

    Inspiron 5150

    Pentium 4 2.66GHz
    512MB DDR SD RAM (2 DIMM)
    60GB HD
    24x CD-RW/DVD
    64MB DDR NVIDIA® GeForce? FX Go5200 AGP 4x Graphics
    96 WHr Lithium-Ion Primary Battery (upgrade from 65 WHr)
    Remote Control for Dell Media Experience
    Dell® Wireless 1450 Internal Wireless (802.11a/b/g, 54Mbps)

    Price is currently at $1,579 not including the $100 mail in rebate....

    Any suggestions or comments on this?

    Im also going to be getting another desktop as well...Haven't got around to looking at those yet.

              Can't insurance is only giving me $1500 for the laptop..And probably about $1300 for the desktop which I have yet to price out and I don't want to just get a laptop....


              Whats the difference in a laptop and a tablet?

                  a tablet can also be used as a pocket pc format, with the touch screen and pen

                  really really cool, but do you need it? probably not

                              You still know Fuck all of what your getting.


                              What type of memory? What harddrive? yeah It says physical data.. I would like to know the RPM/Brand ect

                              Generic Korean made Crap with "DELL" on the side

                                              Yep, they are the best. Go to ebay and look at some of their older models in your price range. They sell them brand new just older outdated models.
