Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

The "volume webmasters" dilemma

I am always seeing webmasters posting here that they can send (pick one: 10/20/100/2.3 million) signups per (pick one: day/week/pay period). Often these webmasters are looking for a new site to promote. So, sometimes I contact them and sometimes I leave my information and they contact me. Then the same series of discussions ensue:

"That's exactly what I'm looking for!"
"I'm definitely interested, hit me up again tomorrow."
"The site looks great, can you get me content from the members area?"
"Let me get back to you tomorrow, I got a lot of messages from that thread."

Of course, it's always all talk. So far the real producers are the quiet people who click my signature and start sending their one or two or three signups per day.

I appreciate every affiliate from the one who sends several signups per day to the one who sends one signup per pay period but I am looking to attract the webmasters who can deliver at a higher rate.

With a few exceptions, the success of an adult paysite rests squarely on the shoulders of it affiliates. You can put together the best paysite ever and, despite what Field of Dreams has to say on the subject, "they" will not necessarily come just because you built it. On the other hand, I think we can all name some pretty marginal sites that enjoy more than their share of success thanks to their affiliates. A lot of programs seem to have forgotten this but I've spent long enough at both ends of the affiliate chain to know better.

If you are looking to promote a brand new site with a nice design, exclusive content, no consoles, a clean members area and great retention, than our site is for you. If you can produce a larger-than-average volume of daily sales, contact me. I want to forge partnerships with webmasters who can put up some numbers. Get ahold of me and I am sure we can work something out; you will be well taken care of.

Thanks to the many of you have already become part of the team. Every sale counts and I'm here to offer whatever support you need.

I've been on the affiliate end of conversations like that, and sometimes the sites do fit exactly what we're looking for but time is a big factor. I've got a list of 2 dozen affiliate programs I'm going to be trying, but I don't drop affiliate programs all that often and it takes time to get to actually promoting something new, even if it is exactly what you were looking for.

Sure, I understand why the conversations often turn into nothing. As I said, I've spent time on both ends. The thing is, I have a good program here and I am willing to work with webmasters who can produce. Like I mentioned in the original post, a lot of programs seem to forget who they owe their success to but I know where the credit belongs. I am perfectly happy having dozens (perhaps hundreds in the near future) of smaller volume webmasters in the program but I am really looking to create business relationships with one or two who can go above and beyond the usual signup-here, signup-there flow of things.

What exactly would be considered high volume?

There is no specific number and it isn't about anyone sending a huge block of sales. Sometimes an affiliate will get a great listing on a couple of big TGPs and produce 12-15 signups in a day but what I mean by "volume" webmaster is someone who can produce steady results. A webmaster steadily producing 5 sales per day or 150-200 sales per month certainly qualifies in my opinion and I would be willing to give extra consideration to a webmaster producing in that range. Of course, an affiliate producing 15 signups per day can ask for and get more because that person is generating enough raw dollars that I can afford to take a cut on the profit percentage.

Again, every signup counts. Whether or not you fall into the above category, feel free to click my signature and check us out

I think maybe its the last option, "Im getting a million icq's right now from that thread". And of course, they are looking over all of their options so they are giving 95% of the people responding one of those lame answers.

when they should just be honest and say, "im looking over all my options."

I'm sure that's part of it but I am looking for webmasters who want to do business and are ready to move forward now.
