spam will always be part of the internet, no matter what type of spam protection systems come up people will still spam and people will still buy things through spam. All you can do is not put your email address in [email protected] format, at least use user at domain dot com

Now, wouldn't it be nice to find a sponsor program that actually
cares about the hardworking affiliate who is trying hard to do
the right thing by working hard and obeying all the rules? A
sponsor who actually celebrates and promotes good business
ethics and practices? Yes - they all say that they are like this,
but in reality most are not.

I can assure you the SexPicturesPass does care if you spam or not, and you had better be CanSpam Compliant or you will not be getting paid.

By being CanSpam Compliant I am not talking about just using certain designated words in the subject, but it has to be double opt in, with a time, date, IP stamp, with opt out ability, and we had better be notified immediately if ANYONE opts off your list, whether they were spammed with our program or someone elses.

We are not going to be fined because of the spammer's negligence.

Spammers don't seem to realize the liabilities we are subject to by their actions, or failure to comply.

How do we know you are spamming if no one complains?

Exactly. And even though Tampa specifically mentioned getting WEGCash spam and I gave my email address so he could forward me the links, I've heard nothing. :(

Folks, if you see ICQ, AIM, board, etc. spamming SEND THE INFO TO THE SPONSORS!!!

For those wanting to know, [email protected]

Trust me, if I find a spammer I make them prove that they are compliant or they don't get paid. YOu will notice that no one has complained about not getting paid, so I guess they were not compliant and they just cut their losses and went with another sponsor.

You will also notice that everytime someone posts that they have an email list for sale the first thing I ask is it it is Ca Spam compliant. We at SexPicturesPass.com have been on top of this compliancy thing from the gate.

I am kind of surprised that it is just now becoming a popular topic of discussion on the boards. It has been in effect for 5 months.

The fact of the matter is that there is a legal way of email spamming. If you do not know how to do it, don't. No ifs, ands, or buts.

that's what I mean some pay sites owners have not been on top of it and are really going 2 get screwed big time, heck just going 2 court will bust some of them much less the fines.

and the Fed's are like a fucking Pit Bull when it comes 2 getting there money, and believe me it's not YOUR money any longer.

bringer 05-20-2004 05:51 PM

if you make enough sales, they dont care.
if you dont, your account gets removed.

I don't see how if they are getting compliant's. do you know how many joins you would have 2 send them to cover just 1 compliant that went 2 a fine. I think the fine is like 10 or 15K

maybe not you, but others ive seen dont seem to mind. i forward emails all the time and yet more and more come in with the same ref code. either the spammers are idiots and keep running without seeing their account is closed, or the company doesnt care. i should of posted more specific. SOME BIG companys dont care, some do.

Fuckin A finally someone made my point b4 i got here.

I to am a sponsor and We actually lost all of shit at our initial launch due to a spamming affil, we were very lucky that our hosts have known us for over 6 years and knew exactly where we stood on spam, and pulled a few strings and got us back up in under 2 hours,

To the people that think sponsors don't care about spam, your folling yourself big time, True their may be a few fucks out there who condone it to line their pockets even more, but in the end if someone complains they CAN loose their ip's Domain names and hosts. and in most cases would have to start their companies ALL OVER AGAIN under new names.

We do NOT tolerate spammers AT ALL! if your caught spamming kiss your account goodbye.

I also wanna touch on something else...

Again somethin gwe totally agree with, Each one of our affils are treated the same #1 and i emplore EVERY sponsor out there to start looking into at LEAST trying this, EVERY AFFIL YOU HAVE has the potential to be a big earner for you but they need help, support and tips and tricks. If your not ready to do that then maybe you should make your program exclusive so you don't have ot worry about being human beings.

I have seen a disturbing trend over the last 6 years, look around other boards and se what affils are crying out for. SUPPORT, HELP, TIPS. These ppl WANT TO make money. Ignoring them won't help either party.

Stopping now before i end up with a fucking novel.

thats old news..... wegcash supports spam they just dont admit it if u dont get many complaints they dont give a shit just like all other sponsors basicaly, if u are looking for a good sponsor which accepts spam and u can make 100/day easy contact me, and NO i do not spam ur emails lol :warning

Theo 05-20-2004 10:27 PM

Near nobody starts mailing a sponsor without getting an arrangement and approval first. So, no matter what the sponsor will tell you, they are aware of the mailings. Exceptions are rare. Mailing costs money. Professional mailing costs A LOT of money, thus mailers make sure to follow certain rules and get an approval before start doing anything.
