The fact is that one cannot take any initial media reports at face value. They...seemingly...more often than not...get it wrong...and usually put the worse face on it that they can...to attract viewers. I was watching when they reported that four of the "terrorists" that executed Berg were "arrested". In less than an hours time this was changed to suspects were "detained"...to four Iraqi's were detained but their detention has nothing to do with the Berg incident.

In this most recent event I have already heard several versions of what happened...from the media. Helicopter fired into crowd...no...a tank round went through the wall of a building...no...some type of explosion took place among the crowd but the source of the explosion is unknown...etc. Maybe...at some point in time...it will be determined what actually happened...maybe not.

Even if it was aiming to scare them it's a bullshit and doesn't make it less of a crime. 24 people were killed and 82 wounded, 12 of them critically.
