Once it's starts going above $5/gallon, I will start complaining... and start seeking alternative modes of transportation....

what the fuck is the point of this "dont buy gas day" if you still drive your car? people are just going to buy more gas today and thursday. if people really want to do anything they should have a "dont drive your car" day. they say that would cost oil companies 6 billion dollars a day, but guess what, they can shit 6 billion.

what if everyone only started filling up at say sunoco stations, it would cause others to lower their prices

I guess we don't really have a limit.
We don't live in a city with a good public transit system.
Also, I don't want to put the things I want to do on hold, cuz people can't figure out how to get the gas prices down.

Gas is at 1$ per litre here in MTL, thats starting to annoy alot of people. There is really nobody at gas stations since yesterday in my area. Everything is completely deserted. Eventually they will have to go back though.

This summer I'll probably drive my motorcycle more though, and maybe look to buy a car instead of my truck.

This vehicle doesn't get very good mileage from what I've read.
http://www.wired.com/news/autotech/0,2554,63413,00.html

You would get getter mileage with a motorcycle or scooter

Everybody gets screwed on gas prices! In the UK, gas is almost $6.00 a gallon... so we should feel lucky I guess, that we only pay $2.25 a gallon... but when we were used to $1.50 a gallon not even a year ago, it makes it hard to swallow that they raised it that much If it goes past $2.50 a gallon, I'm going to stop driving and start complaining LOL '

Mommy mommy why are they doing this to us! LOL

I know! We had been planning a cross country US RV trip... and now with gas prices as they are, there's no way in hell we'll be able to afford the gas on that big of a trip... by gas going up from $1.60/gallon when we were first planning to now $2.25/gallon.... that would cost us about $3000 more... oh it sucks right now! No I'm not bitter... where's my gun LOL

Based on inflation, better fuel ecomomy vehicles, higher wages, etc. gas isn't any more expensive for most people than it has been in the past. I see no reason to have a limit for myself as it's still an economical way for me to get around
