There was a 'scam warning' about this in Aus on a popular current affairs program. The guys were hanging around in shopping mall parking lots and offloading shitty speakers.

heh - there was this guy last fall who hit me up more than once in a parking lot at Washington Mutual trying to sell me some speakers - i figured they were hot LOL

ROFL!!! 4 of my friend got owned by that scam, here in orlando they chill near the ATM and try to get you to take out more money. The speakers are worth like $20 funny thing is 2 of my friends got pressured so bad they only bought one speaker. what are you gonna do with one speaker lol

i was like ok..lets go to my place...plug them in and crank them up if they rock ill buy them..but they werent into it.

one of my friends just got ripped with one of these offers ... I was in his apartment last night and saw them and knew right off because of the box and brand that he was ripped ... asked him about it and he told me where he got them, at least he didnt pay TOO MUCH for them, but still, owned.

thats the speaker co that ripped him, most likely took chinese crap speakers and relabeled them to make them look prettier.
