I have used it for about the same time and I can't work without it. I lost it when I had a harddrive crash and my husband muttered 'just use notepad' and it was like a scne out of the exorcist with my head spinning around at the shame of the comment.

i suppose typeitin is the 'smallest' program I couldn't do without. I have it up nearly all the time. Ulead smartsaver pro does in minutes what it used to take me days to do.

flashfreak 09-30-2004 05:36 AM

great thread, I;m going to test these programs.

now my turn:

K9 from keir.net - best pop3 mail filter.
Ulead Smart Saver Pro - badass jpg optimizer.
TopStyle - awesome css editor.

BK Replace is the fastest free find/replace tool out there. This thing will search and replace text in folders full of files in seconds.

What I can't do without is from http://www.tuelz.com . The first 4 tuelz are a free download. The rest give you mastery over the SEs.

Since I am a programmer, I have a few snippets of code that I frequently use. TrayClip allows me to keep all the snippets of code organized so I can paste them in easily. It also keeps track of the last X number of items that were in your clipboard so you can easily paste them again if necessary. I couldn't live without this little program.

Really nice! I think I had something like that once but I lost it. Maybe I'll try it out.

Not really.
Textpad is pretty good and I use it for everything from coding java to making html pages. It's pretty known though.:)

Verbal 06-21-2005 07:23 AM

great thread

--MARIAN-- 06-21-2005 07:32 AM

OK, my turn now ;)

TextPad - absolutely the BEST txt/html editor around.
Batch It Ultra - great for resizing/compressing/renaming image files.
SnatchIt - very easy for grabbing frames from a video.

BukkakeBrown 06-21-2005 07:40 AM
