my mother did a good job until i was about 13, she then got into hard drugs for a while. she cleaned up, but still lives in a world of greed and selfishness. this makes it hard for the two of us to communicate as adults. truly fucking sad. i have vowed NOT to raise my daughter in the same fashion:winkwink:

I didn't have any parents really. My mother suffers from a borderline disorder, my Dad got sick of her shit when I was two and left. So I survived my childhood with some support from my grandparents (my grandma was kinda like my mom, but died when I was 13)...I still recovering from the sick shit my mom did to me when I was little.

My mom is awesome, she's always been there for me even when I was a total bitch in highschool. Now we are so close and talk everyday even though I live 3000 miles away from her.

My dad is another story but I never lived with him so it didn't effect me so much. He's a good guy but always pops in and out of my life.. I usually have to track him down if I want to talk to him.

ya my mom was very good. Worked and went to school full time while raising me. She is doing so good now with her job it is great.
