Wednesday...Boycott gas day?

I heard on the radio or something there was a gas out on wed. Anyone heard of this or going to do it. It said by not buying gas for a day it would put the oil companies in surplus and they would have to lower prices. Any truth to this?

Woo.. no one buys gas on Wednesday and 2x as many people fill up the next day. That'll teach those gas companies.

Well I was sort of questioning the logic myself. If it is noone buys gas day then it would mean noone can drive day which in turn would mean noone works day which would fuck the economy worse right? lol

Not buying on one day will not work... If everyone would buy gas from only one company... boycott all the rest... the rest would have to lower prices to win customers back... Like a gas war... but that's only temporary too....

Best to just promote the girls of pineapplepink.com and have the money to pay for the gas... Problem solved!

I am very happy I dont drive many miles during the week. This has got to put a damper in tourism this year. Airline tickets and gas are just insane right now.

What everyone really needs to do is take their local mas-transit system for 1 week or walk or ride their bikes that will really show the gas companies. But then the airline and bus companies would have to charge double or triple or more to cover the cost, they lost from that 1 week..

Or everyone in the world goes on vacation the last week of June and stay home and go no where for 1 week..
