Just remember to erase all memories of the story by Homer from your mind before you step into the cinema. Because the story is so bastardised, (and missing any mention of the Gods), the characters lose their motivation, and so the movie just ends up as pixal wars, with boring bits of Homer 101 thrown in for the ignorant. My favourite is how they recast Pitts male companion/lover as his cousin. I guess the Malaysian market couldn't handle the real story, so the film company did 'the right thing.' I bet if the same director made Romeo and Juliet, he'd have them living happily ever after!

Actually, they are cousins, according to the book. Petroclus, I believe his name is.
Patroclus was the best friend and lover of Achilles. They were not cousins, but met after Patroclus killed a friend during a childhood game of dice, and was sent for safe keeping to the father of Achilles. There, they became best friends etc etc.
