    PS2 or Xbox and Why?

    Ok check it, my PS2 broke the other night. i have a few games extra controller, etc. so i was thinking about getting another PS2 to replace it. Now im hearing all the hype on the Xbox and how people love it. Ive never really played it.
    I just want to know who prefers what system and why?

    so do i get the XBOX or the PS2?

      PS2 cause I like rpg games... but why not get both?

              The first XBox we bought never even worked. It was broken out of the box. Plus, the games load slowly. The second one works, but I just can't get over the slow loading. The graphics are better than PS2, though.

              The PS2 is a little faster, more reliable AND has better games available, IMO. I'm like Vitasoy, I like RPG games, and there just aren't enough good RPGs for XBox. Not enough good fighting games, yet, either.

              But I prefer the Game Cube to both PS2 and XBox. The graphics are good, it loads much faster than the other two systems, and there is a large variety of games available.

                  we have all 3 platforms as well as game boy advances..too many fucking games in this house. ;)

                      well i think the PS2 has better and more games. Although the xbox has nicer graphics so that why I got the xbox. I also got it because it comes with a HD .

                          I got a PS2 just cause I wanted to play GTAVC... but now I've beaten GTAVC and bought/played/mastered every sports game... what other games should I get? I rented a couple and was majorly disapointed. Max Payne 2 licked ass.. I couldnt sit tight through the movie or whatever they call it at the begining of the game.. ended up turning it off... so all of you PS2 fans.. what games should I get ?? Only other thing is I dont want no final fantasy shit.. Im not into that fantasy stuff

                                      Hubby has an Xbox, I've never played a PS2. His Xbox is cool because it's all modded up, we can download games and such.
                                      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                                          almost all games that come out for the one console will come out for the other consoles as well, but the ps2 does have more exclusive games than the xbox. just go to gamestop and check out the games and get the system that has the most you think youd like

                                                  xbox: mods, better graphics, better overall system, HALO and GTA VC, i think it has a 733 processor...youd have to check on the specs for that...xbox is basically a pc that can run linux if you want it to.

                                                  ps2: graphics are shitty compared to xbox. system has only one worthy game - gta vc, which is now on xbox.

                                                  gaycube: for 9 year olds.

                                                  have xbox. had ps2 (got rid of it). will never get a gamecube.

                                                  xbox is also only 149.00 NEW now, and theres a halo package as well.

                                                          Xbox no question. And if you like rpg games, get Knights of the Old Republic, it's game of the fuckin year for good reason. Better overall graphics, a hard drive which eliminates mem cards, and everything else.

                                                              XBox rulez. I modded mine and put a 250gig hard drive loaded with 90 games in it. The games load much faster from the hard drive.

                                                              Fred, I think I fried the motherboard.........and the fatherboard, too.
