Kerry is for Marijuana for Medical reasons. Once the pendulum swings back the other way, perhaps we'll be able to sell bongs again!

Kerry is an idiot and so is Bush. Anyone that would vote for either is a moron. They are both almost identical. They both support big government and thier are both socialist white trash.

All politicians are idiots.

The quest is to find the one that will do the least damage to us.

If Nader was Republican or Democrat he might actually be an alternative.

It's a 2 party beast right now, the center-left v the center-right.. any candidate that fails to push policies that attract a large share of votes from the center mass wont really have a chance of being an alternative.

Bush spent 70+ million on negative Kerry commercials.

The recent Kerry commercials are all very positive, I think Kerry will get more votes is he keeps playing the ositive of the two.

I noticed that too. I've seen positive commercials from the Kerry team nd negative ones from the Bush team. I once read an analysis that showed the candidate with the most "positive message" had an advantage.

I also once read an interesting paper on campaign theory that said you are likely to gain in the polls by running negative ads when you are currently behind.

These might be two separate things. What the commercials say and what the candidate says.

Polls at this point don't mean squat; election is still months away. Bush will win, I wouldn't worry about that. Although I'm sure you aren't.

Furious_Male 05-15-2004 09:43 AM

Its important to remember Bush may still pull the BinRabbit out of a hat around election time. That could sway the sheep in his favor.

I personaly don't think Kerry with his flip flop mentality is the right choice either but at this point it appears that a lot of hatred directed at the United States is stemming from Bush (a lot not all for you Rush sheep). Bush is a hated man and getting him out of office just may relieve some tensions. We just have to hope Kerry can protect this country.

I would hate to be a new president taking over this mess. Hes going to piss off people regardless but I still think it will be a change for the better.

Not voting at all is the same as voting for Bush. Voting for Nader, is the same as giving your vote to Bush. The goal is to get rid of Bush, and the only way to do that is to vote for Kerry. I'm convinced that Kerry couldnt posibly be as bad of a president as bush is.

I dont eally think the President really ever has anything to do with protecting our country.

Thats what the defense dept is for.

You really trying to tell me Bush of all people is sitting around thinking about how to "protect this country" - in a time of threat I really doubt the US is going to suffer when anytime something comes we they call together general after general for prewar plan etc, not the Pres

i dont think that for ONE MINUTE.

just a face.
