Setting up a wireless XP network
Any knowledgeable network people round?
Whats the deal, do u have to make those network boot disks like it says in the wizard, or is there another way around it? Got the broadband already working across network and the wireless gear is working, not sure where to start with the sharing of files though. I realise there is a network wizard, just wondering if there is a workaround to get it up and running? Running a desktop with a router and a notebook with a wireless card. cheers!!

My setup was pretty trivial.
Set the router up first, enable wireless in XP disable other networks in XP to keep it simple XP should be able to find the wireless network, then add encription. Jump in, it was painless ![]()
