    i'm losing it :(

headed home pretty early tonight (12am) and thus had the pleasure of sharing the streets with the newly licensed and driving my mom's toyota camry crowd.

four of them in a car pull up to a light and i looked over because the brakes sounded like they were going to tear the rotors off. i laugh when some kid's like "wtf u lookin at" and i made some comment about the brakes. "fuck u how you like driving daddy's car?" now, this caught me off guard because i'm 23 and look just about 25.

did i tear it up? make them feel inferior because at that age i was putting myself through school and driving around a fly ride? make a comment about the oh so latent homosexuality?

nah. i just looked around in the car and said "well... it's pretty nice"

That's a very charming story. You should write a book.

If I had a million dollars

                The Friday Five asks:

You have just won one million dollars:

                1. Who do you call first?

Since I?m probably playing the lottery with Mish, Dee, and Kelly, I don?t have to tell them. I think I?d tell my boss first. But if I?m at work, I?ll just walk over to her office.

                2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?

                TopStyle.

                3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?

I?d buy a new house for Brendan and Melissa. (This is aside from paying off debts for my family which isn?t really ?buying?.)

                4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?

Probably. Huge chunks to my family. Some to Ma and Pappy. And then to friends as I have leftovers.

                5. Do you invest any? If so, how?

Sure. But I don?t know anything about investing. I?d put some money into high risk stuff and other money into low risk stuff. I?d have to hire an investment counselor (or whatever you call them).

Since they were kids you should of played the "just got out prison" persona and asked him if he's ever had his shit pushed in. Then ask him if he'd like to.

...or tell him, "actually daddy is in the trunk...where's the fucking freeway".

Gotta have some fun with these kids. Plus it'd make for a good story to tell everybody. Might make you sound "cool". ;-)

just can't come up with that stuff on the fly any more

it used to be (superlisp) "well yeah he did but not the kind of daddy you're thinking of *wink* "

but that's gotten dangerous, all the kids around here are racist/sexist/homophobic now. my saudi neighbor (software engineer... go figure) still gets shit all the time.
