My sons and daughter have become HUGE fans of AC/DC thanks to the movie "School Of Rock" Now they are raiding my CD's for AC/DC (and these are kids aged 8, 7 and 3 1/2)

My favorite is "Back In Back" no matter what mood I'm in this song always getas in rocking mode
my oldest son loves "Fly On The wall" (odd selection, I know)
my daughter's favorite is "Highway To hell"
and my youngest likes them all (or so he says)

I've taught all of them the basic chords, etc. on the guitar for "Back In Black"

It's wierd with AC/DC fans though. Most of the time they are either leaning more Bon Scott or more Brian Johnson. To me they were just more gritty and raw with Bon Scott. Brian Johnson does his own thing but it just doesn't feel as intense with him.

AC/DC rocks! I've seen them a bunch in concert. In fact they were the second concert I ever went to back when I was 14. I've seen them at least 5+ times since.

Hmm, now you just made me realize they are the one band I like so much and have so many great songs that I don't have a single favorite.

In any other band I have a favorite song but for some reason I can't pick a favorite with AC/DC. All there songs kick ass!

With Brian Johnson they're a good rock and roll band, good to get drunk with. With Bon Scott, they're Blues/Rock hybrid legends on a par with Zep. I like Brian, but I think anybody who listens to AC/DC enough is going to become a Bon fan eventually.

Another thing to think about is that the best they've ever been with Brian was Back in Black - an album that was basically created entirely while Bon was still alive with a lot of his lyrics, I even have a studio rip of Bon singing Back in Black and it is baaaaaad

IMHO, nothing they've done with Brian is the equal of BIB, which I think was the last of Bon's influence on the band.
