It depends on what you are looking for.
The Cybernet shows have always been kick ass for networking and IMHO, they have the best panel discussions (yes, I am bias)
Intenext is a huge event....Too huge. It's a non-stop party and to get any networking done you need to plant your ass in the lobby and catch people as they go by. If you don't do this then it is hit or miss as you pass each other in a drunken stumble towards the next party.
Both shows have good and bad points. For me, it's all about the business and I get much more business out of the smaller shows plus the parties are still there and fairly well structured.
But WTF do I know? I'm just an asshole newbie.

I'm going to both. I live in Florida, so Internext is a no brainer but I think since YNOT is doing Cybernet this year, it's going to be a good show too.

at cybernet i can talk to most everyone and they are all in the game and have a clue - at internext i have to throw a PRIAVTE event to concentrate the right people - i can get more of the right people at internext, but i have to throw the event to find them all - i usually end up with more biz and better ideas at shows like cybernet cause i spend more time with people outside of my TGP worldThis dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!

I also like to party, but when it comes to partying at shows, and how you ALWAYS feel the next day, it's pretty much like the Paul Kelly (excellent Aussie muso) song..

Seriously, it's a mission to come from Downunder, so more is better, hence the bigger shows.
At least that is my story and I'm sticking to it.

I agree that both are worth attending, but are very different. Like Aaron said, I think you can get more business done at the smaller venues. However i think if you can do it, you should go to them both. I will be going to both.

Smaller shows give you more opporunity to meet everyones. In bigger show, everybody is in a rush trying to see everyones, so contact are very very fast and quick.
