What was he doing there in the first place? Wandering around looking to build communication towers? No capacity there as military or civilian contractor?
I feel bad for the guy and his family but it sounds like a pretty dumb risk to take. Not the type of environment to run around looking for opportunities for your small business.Comment

What happened in that video can't be justified and placing the blame on anyone other than the people who were there is wrong. I can certainly understand the families? response but they are grieving and not thinking straight. Why was their son there in the middle of a war zone? Lots of people have decided to go over there and work because it pays well but at some point we have to stop and take responsibility for our actions. What makes someone say, "Gee it pays well I'll go get a job in one of the most volatile places in the world." He didn't deserve what happened to him it was wrong and disgusting but at some point he had to understand the dangers of being anywhere in Iraq.

Those videos were filmed by Chechen terrorists that were captured later by Russian army. I also saw a few of them on local TV. They were MUCH MORE scary than Iraqi one.
