"Metropolis Part 1", everything on "Images And Words" is good...everything after that sucks. Too bad, they could have been the best rock band ever. Ever hear "Liquid Tension Experiment"?

dream theater is the musical equivalent to masturbation - music for musicians. no normal minded person is able to understand that.

"Wait for sleep"

A buddy of mine gave me a live version from some show he recorded in NYC... LaBrie's voice is amazing through the entire song.

DT pulls off each song perfectly live...amazing band.

I've seen them live a couple of times. I think they're amazing musicians, but can't say I really get into their music.

Saw them with Queensryche last August at the Paramount in Seattle. Fucking awesome show! I left a wet seat, I swear.

I love "Awake" and "Scenes From A Memory", but I"m really digging this "Train of Thought" stuff. Endless Sacrifice and In the Name of God are my two faves off that CD, though all of it kicks ass.

I didn't know they are still togather. I saw them with Fates Warning and Queensryche at the Paramount (or was it the Moore) theatre a couple of times.

I used to be a huge DT fan, but ToT and 6DoIT were piles of shit. Which is too bad after Scenes from a Memory, which was amazing.

I personally like Awake, DT did better with the heavy stuff.

So fucking true.

However, their latest album is pretty understandable by the lawmen. "As I Am" and "Endless Sacrifice" are wicked and have radio potential.

DT is still pretty technical but they are getting old and just want to play something fun now. They have proved themselves as masters of their instruments with each album.
