Personally, I think Paris allowed it to come out for the publicity. I could just imagine the conversation with her father.

She has NOT sued anyone personally to stop it. Not even "Rick the Dick".

Given he sued for libel/slander when she originally claimed she was underage, he has a MASSIVE countersuit in the wings if she goes back on that and tries to actually say it was her consentually and have it stopped on other grounds.

Methinks that Ms Hilton has a little bit more to lose in those stakes than Mr Soloman.

And given the "damage" has already been done, maybe she just wants the continued publicity.....

It's a gray area that relates to reasonable expectations of privacy. Plus, you have some consent - one of the two parties is behind the actual release (unlike Pam & Tommy, Vince and Janine, etc). If you casually fuck people in hotel rooms and video tape it, there's probably not a reasonable expectation that the tape will remain forever private. Paris probably could have tied it up in court with an injunction though, and it makes you wonder why she didn't. But once the Genie is out of the bottle there isn't much point.

My guess is she's still going to sue Soloman for big bucks down the line (all profit damages, punitives, etc). These damages will be easier to prove once she subpoenas all his business records.

But of course she did it for the publicity, before the tape, nobody knew or gave a fuck about her!

Didn't you say the same thing about SexBrat ? It's easy to repeat what someone else says. Doesn't make it 100% true. Besides, the conspiracy theories are much more fun to talk about.


At least he got smart and partnered with someone ( Xpays ) this time instead of trying to do it himself the way it was handled at first.
