We currently have an office at home, we needed more space so the office took over the living room 100% and now we have outgtrown our 4 bedroom house. We are designing a new one which will have an office half the size of our current house. :)

My office takes up about 3 square feet in the corner... partially facing a wall and partially facing the ocean (when the curtain is open) :thumbsup

lol, the other 2 are behind the white board with the wires, so no fear for dropping over :thumbsup

I have just always kind of worked where everyone else was but it looks like I am finally going to take over the small (really small) bedroom and make it my office. Going to require a bit of work but I am hoping it will be worth it and I will be able to work on this stuff and my book without people stopping me every two seconds.

Those of you that went from not having an office to having one - did it change your work rates?

Yup I sure do.

It works for keeping the wife out if it looks more business like
She doesn't distract me as much now :)

i did that for a while but i kept feeling like i was being rude to my husband by having conversations where most of the time my head was blocked by a screen.
