I rented three DVD of Andrew Blake because of the box covers' description of the story and pictures. This guy is probably the worse porn director, alll the movies I saw was nothing more than a music video with alot of slow motion and naked girls in the background, none had any story at all... what kind of shit is that.

This guy should be doing videos for MTV, he doesn't belong in porn...what a waste of $10

i don't like Andrew Blake and the others who produce 'passion porn' - the arty stuff. To me porn is to wack off to. I watch film and music videos to see interesting ideas, camera work, lighting etc.

I think Andrew Blake does very well, there are guys who will buy that stuff cuz they can feel too dirty renting the nasty stuff - the big market for Andrew Blake is cable and PPV plus the DVDs.

How much does it cost to produce.

How big is that market compared to real hardcore?

I would have thought that the glossy hardcore (Blake's stuff) market for home video is fading fast. It would seem only tv rights makes them any money.

The market is HUGE, this kind of stuff is much more oriented to couples who will BUY and watch the whole dvd than the average Horny John who will RENT a movie and wack to it for 15 minutes while he's looking at it on Fast Forward in search of the hardest scene ...

Raw porn is mainly for the curious. Hot women and high production standards are what you need for loyalty. And as someone said, when it comes to video, a lot of the market is for couples, not just the lone loser wanting to jack off.

I have always found it is easier to sell the nasty or bizarre stuff, whatever you want to call it. But you cannot beat the retention you get from using material like Andrew Blake's and his counterparts in the stills market.
