To All Canadians Bashing The US Military

Been there, done that. My trusty fire control radar guided several missles that blew up shit the first time around.

We even had some Canadians on board, but they were cool.

So everyone knows, I was not knocking it, its just from what I heard. If you have a cold, sure it can help you. But from what I read if you have serious condition you are no better off anywhere.

You can afford to be laid back, and I'll admit I like Canada. One of the best times of my life was in Vancouver, and I don't dislike Canadians, just wanted to shut a couple of them up.

Anyhell, because you don't have to spend tons on a military budget, BECAUSE we are neighbors by the way, you have the money for education and healthcare.

But lets say we just remove the US and put Mexico directly beneath you. Hmmm now you have to build up a military because god knows the 14 year olds selling chicklets across the border aren't going to be much help should something happen. So, your borders tighten up, you're no longer the safe haven for miscreants and voila, you now have enemies.

Which is why I asked why so many brag about it, because people like SHemp and others sure dont run to its defense.

My girl just off the phone and her granmother is back in the hospital been in and out since before Easter, teminally ill with cancer and its costing her fasmily 3 grand a day to be there, and more than 20k for other expenses in the last couple of weeks.

I hear you, and it shard to sit back and watch things go down the wa they do, i just hate seeing people brag about free shit when my girls family is sitting here breaking down over watching their grandmosther die, while illegal immigrants get free hospitalization here and its citizens die slow.

While I dont wish anything on anyone, one thing that sucks is how I have seen Lady Micheif, and other canadians say "at least the terrorist isnt here" etc... its everywhere.

Heh. Canada owes their security to America. All Canadians must praise their neighbors to the north. Not. Canada is a pretty laid back country. They don't usually go looking for trouble like the US does, their military doesn't get involved in things unless it's UN business for the most part. Canada's military is small, but what's the point of having a large army if you're not at war? Canada doesn't have many enemies, and those that may be enemies don't have the resources to launch an invasion. So what's the point of massing an army? This is life, not a RTS like Command and Conquer (Although the US administration may lead you to believe otherwise).

Canada's healthcare and education systems are both failing due to poor choices and mismanagment of funds in other departments. While America is busy fucking other countries, Canada's government is busy fucking it's own people on both a federal and provincal scale in most locations. People are dying on waiting lists or in emergency rooms waiting 24 hours to see a doctor with life threatening illnesses, because all the doctors and nurses have moved to the US and other countries where they can make a far superior living to what they would working in Canada.

People should spend less time worrying about what other people think about them and their country and more time worrying about what kind of mess is being made in their own backyard.

Every passing day the idea of moving to Alaska or the Yukon and living in the wilderness away from the "civilized" world becomes more and more appealing.

There is extremist everywhere for sure but Canada has no enemies I know of??
