The fact is, religion is such a powerful influence it gets woven right into the fabric of society. Our own society descends from the Judeo-Christian tradition. To say, "I have never heard of a war being waged over dfferent religious concepts" is pure folly.

Yes, there have been problems that have revolved around religion. But more often than not, throughout history, it's a leader using religion as a tool to exploit the people to advance his personal goals.
