I'd much rather get the warts than herpes. You are stuck with herpes for life. With the warts, you can have them removed. A wart is a wart. You see it or feel it. With herpes, it can stay hidden until you have an active outbreak which is noticeable to the eye. Of course, testing HIV positive is much worse, but there are so many other sexually transmitted diseases that can cause you grief.

                                                                          Know your partner. Do a body check and then cross your fingers that she/he is telling you the truth.

                                                                                      I totally agree that HPV is much better than Herpes, but there is still no cure for HPV (warts)...they are in testing phases for a vaccination, though, from what I heard on the radio... You can remove warts and then there's supposedly a very small reoccrrence rate (I forgot the %), but you're still a carrier no matter what. Whether you can still pass it on is up to debate, but researchers do believe you can catch it even if there are no visible signs.

                                                                                                                      In males the virus lays dormant after the visible part of it is treated (they used liquid nitrogen on my cock). Females is a different story, they use vinegar inside to see if it puffs up, if it does, it's a wart, they zap 'em off with lazers. Problem is, the cervix holds a high concentration of it and even though dormant, can creep up at any time and infect her partner. Also, it can cause serious health problems in women. The non testable type is the one you want, the testable one is the bad one. It infects every cell in your body but is harmless really.
