Any Hosts in Eugene Oregon? - GoFuckYourself.com

Since this seems to be Oregon day on the board, perhaps this is a sign that I should ask this question now...

We're thinking of moving operations to Eugene / Springfield Oregon, and I need to know if there are any good hosts who do co-lo in that area.

If none do co-lo, then dedicated would be my second choice.

There are a load of hosts in the Westin Building in Seattle since that is the major Telco hotel out there.

Most hosts these days offer remote hands / managed colocation so really it takes the issues out having to admin the box in person, unless of course that is your thing.

We've tried both remote managed co-lo and remote managed dedicated. We're looking to be able to drive to our server(s) anytime we want to, swap hardware, manage things ourselves, tweak things for optimum performance, etc. Too many years of poor tech support is wearing thin.

Seattle is not a very viable option for us. Besides being quite a long drive, we really don't like Seattle.

So, if not directly in the Eugene area, how about anywhere in Oregon? Portland area? Salem? Anywhere?

Hey Oldnewbie you should try to get ahold of AaronM. Not sure if he still does but he used to have co-lo in pdx.
