I know I'm not a huge name in this industry, but I'm looking into making adult my day job on top of running my site. I don't know a ton about the technical side of things - basically just enough for my site. But I have a ton of mainstream sales and secretarial experience. I see your point about guys vs. girls. And as far as the secretarial thing goes, I just meant I had experience doing things like billing, file setup and management, legal paperwork - all kinds of random stuff I did at my last job (I was an admin asst for a federal halfway house). I also think I might have some skills that not everyone on this board does. I have a college education, I've worked in retail a lot and I can sell anything to anyone, I'm extremely organized, and I can learn anything quickly. My last two bosses have both asked that i don't answer the phone.
They said i was rude and wasn't sympathetic to thier needs. They also emphasized it wasn't in my job description... so they got me a secratary.

Good luck but I've yet to see a webmaster have this as a "day job" be prepared for a 24/7 varying schedule.
