Why Aren't More Sponsors Doing This?
Emailing webmasters when they have updated galleries with your linkcode installed?Many people are promoting more than just a few sponsors and it would get more listings.I have only a few that do.Why not?

Good question. I'd like to know alsoSIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text. -

Soulcash does this. They do it so often I have thought of starting a TGP with all their galleries since they have so many.

No we wouldn't, but we will be adding more sites (4 on the rack waiting to be added), more banners, more features, more hosted galleries, reviews of new resources, general helpful info and having regular webmaster competitions.....Originally posted by spunky1

The aim is to be useful and NOT painful.

It is amazing isn't it? They get the designs done, make the thumbs, upload everything. And then forget to tell anyone...
If you follow someone like freehostedgalleries.com there are often over 2,000 new galleries a month. I doubt I learn about much more than a quarter via emails from sponsors.
Still the most irritating thing (especially since a lot use codes that choke link checkers) is that when they delete galleries, you are damn lucky to be told about any.
The hosted gallery thing has a huge potential. But I doubt if 10% of it is being exploited, because of the cumbersome way that most sponsors handle them.Comment
