Im using the latest 54Mbit Linksys router and its as good as it gets...always get a consistent 54mbit link. unless offcourse you have a 100mbit pipe coming into your house, why else would you need your wireless to operate at 108mbit?

Make sure you get the router that supports that bandwidth. I have the wireless network card but waiting for the routers to come down in price a bit.

I own this router. Its really fast and all but the range seems to have issues here not sure if its just my local problem or what. It works extremely well otherwise.

depending on your provider , I work with Cox and our modems are 256up and 3meg down if you have a good connection with your current card and router then your not gonna make that modem download any faster than your network supports. To me its a waste of money and thats from someone that does this for a living.

my i wouldnt waste my moeny if your router works fine now. i would spend money on new rg6 coax wiring and make sure that you have a good signal level on the data spectrum of the coax.

Just some FYI, but Linksys and Dlink products are made by the same company using the same parts.
