Limbaugh has hit a new low. As if he couldn't go lower than snakeshit in quicksand in Australia, he's on the air trying to downplay and justify the Iraqi prisoner torture photos.

Mind you, Pres. Bush already chewed Rumsfeld a new asshole for not letting him know that these abuses were going on, Limbaugh forgets that and goes on how there are worse images like 'porn sites' etc.

Then he stoops even lower talking about how the prisoner photos look like 'homo-erotica' as if to say someone gay had something to do with this nonsense.

This incident will be Bush's downfall. I am becoming more convinced each day that Bush was sabotaged from day one from both the right and the left. He's being used by nazi-wannabes on his own side and left wing intelligence agents.

He gets warnings prior to 911 and they get ignored. Then he gets supposed verifiable evidence of weapons of mass destruction and they're not there after blowing up half of Iraq. Now out of the clear blue sky American troops are busted cold violating every honorable law regarding prisoners of war with video and pics to boot. All this just before the election.

I'm telling you guys, either just before the election or right after a big domestic turmoil will erupt.

The Soviets collapsed because they ran out of money. The U.S. will collapse because we ran out of lies.

things to get ratings and sell advertising. (not unlike howard stern)

some of what he says just happens to be true.

Most of the world's intelligence services, president Clinton, the house of commons and senate and finally the UN all believed Saddam still had WMD. He certainly had them at one point, didn't he?

There's bad apples in every bunch. Sensationalism at it's best here though. There are both Iraqi's that treat American prisoners poorly, and American's that treat Iraqi prisoners poorly. A handfull of troops won't ruin the president, I'm sure.

I know you are desperately pushing your own political agenda here, but Rush said nothing of the sort. Rather, he's just putting some perspective on the hysteria. Specifically, these abuses are attributable to 7 people (out of over 150,000 troops and civilian contractors).

oh boy..no, that story is in no way being ignored. It is massive and there is no way it is going to end without being a huge deal. Either they are real pics and then all hell *is* going to break out in Parliment or they are fake and then we have the editor of the paper that ran them facing a future I wouldn't wish on many people especially as he no doubt thought they were real as after the Hutton ingury fall out the BBC faced the media is trying to be ultra careful in order not to face the same beating. I am NO fan of his (he isn't a great friend to those of us Americans living in the UK..lets put it that way) but if he had no doubt in his mind that those pics were real he had a duty to run them. Oooo, political blood sports.

You think the Bush admin didn't know about those abuses and others that are going on? They knew and they encouraged it but now that it's public, they're playing innocent. Why else would they hire civilian contractors who aren't bound by rules and laws? The bad apples are the Bush admin, not the soldiers who where following orders given by someone who couldn't care less about the reputation of the US military.

I remember reading that when Rush went on the air he wasn't even a registered voter yet. He soon found the republican spiel and ran with it. I wouldn't be surprised if he still votes democrat just so he can have another president to bitch about.

It's been common knowledge for presidents for a long time that Bin Laden wished to strike the United States.

How does ammount to a warning, that could be acted upon, about September 11th?

Maybe if the title was "BIn Laden determined to crash planes in to the world trade center and pentagon" you've have something to stand on. But general intelligence does not a specific threat make.
