How can they afford to pay $40 and even $80 on a free signup? Even if they are cc-approved it means 1 out of 10 members has to spend $400-800 just to satisfy the affiliate payment... How do they get that out of their customers?

Some people spend $1000's and are active members for years.
And you get only $40

And many times they will just cancel webmasters for no reason at all and not pay them.

So thats got to increase the overall revenue a little.
