keep yourself busy by working at night and stay, or if you can't, limit certain occassions where there's lots of drinking involved.

You can't just quit. Maybe you can start by trimming down the quantity of what you drink.

I'll never start drinking !
First I'm a bodybuilder.. and bodybuilding and beer don't mix. Alcohold hurts muscle growth and it effect your gains. It doesn't have any nutrients.. it also slow down your metabolism.. it also lowers testosterone and increase estrogen. Drinking alcohol is almost only for unhealthy people. And the worst of this is that a lot of young people only drink to try to impress people :1orglaugh pathetic. |
I had a pretty bad problem with the booze, I quit cold turkey, did'nt drink for about 5 months, now I can drink socialy or not drink at all. I keep it in my mind that I have a problem controling my drinking, so when I do drink maybe once a month or so I will only have about 3 or 4 beers and then switch to soda. It works for me , I know it would'nt work for most problem drinkers. But if you feel you need to quit you probably should at least for a few months. You'd be supprised how much better you will feel.
