I do all the photography & video for our websites; I prefer 35mm, but the transfer process to jpeg lost a lot of quality. So I moved to digital about 6 months ago.
I still think a quality 35mm camera with kodak portra VC film produces a lot more beautiful glamour style images used under natural light than your 6.1 megapixel type digital cams. The images have an airbrushed & soft feel to them.
