For you die-hard Hellboy fans of the comic series and movie, you'll know of Rick Cortes. He's one of the premier artists on the series. Well the link above is to a news story. Rick needs your help. He's only 30 years old and had a mild stroke. He's okay the article and message boards say but that's still under observation. Of course it happened when he was not under health care insurance. So the boys got together and put up an auction of original 'Hellboy' art from the comics and movies to raise money. Even 'Hellboy' creator Mike Mignola pitched in. If you want some 'Hellboy' memorabilia and can help out all the info is in the article. All official stuff.

This is why you gotta have health insurance. This is the second disaster in a month with someone who is in dire financial distress due to the freakin' health care costs and procedures.
