He was probably bluffing.

dougeetx 05-04-2004 02:38 PM

Dang! I hope everyone's ok!

GonePhishing 05-04-2004 02:40 PM

Fuck, I am sorry to hear that mang. Hope you are okay, and that you filed a report. I hope that they catch that guy, and that he doesn't make a habit of coming back to your location.

Dirty D 05-04-2004 02:56 PM

Glad you are OK Gregg. That is some fucked up shit.

Brace yourself for a repeat attempt...
Take precautions!
A 12 ga shotty behind the couch always helps even the score...

I am glad that we shoot "Crack Whore Confessions" offsite so we don't get shot onsite - lol

BlueDesignStudios 05-04-2004 03:03 PM

Damn... that's N-A-S-T-Y!!

A machine gun?!? damn...lucky that was all he took.

stev0 05-04-2004 03:05 PM

that's crazy man, glad to hear you're ok....

Ross 05-04-2004 03:08 PM

Shit thats some nasty shit..... Where do you live??
I'd have a big bad ass camera above your door. No one I didn't know would get in!

gornyhuy 05-04-2004 03:21 PM

Glad you are okay.. :BangBang:

You need to put up these signs on the door:
"PORNOGRAPHER ONLY CARRIES $20 IN CASH"
"PHOTOGRAPHER DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO SAFE"

xenophobic 05-04-2004 03:44 PM

instead of buying a rile, or a pistol which is only going to lead into a armed confrontation where someone gets maimed or killed, spend the money on a camera and an intercom, don't even answer the door, monitor the camera, use the intercom to ask their business, if they have legitimate business and have portfolio's etc make them show them to the camera before you open the door, likewise if they're carrying a bag, or long coat make sure they show you the contents.

Have your camera installed so you can see a wide field, you do not want someone hiding behind another, or stood at the side of the camera, might not be a bad idea to have a registration book, with dates in, make visitors sign in etc, or have "By appointment only" on your door.

The Other Sweetie 05-04-2004 03:45 PM

I have no clue who you are, but thank God you're ok. Aren't machine guns pretty big? Maybe I'm a little too paranoid, but I'd think twice before I'd let in a stranger carrying a large bag. Weren't you wondering why some strange dude was carrying a bag in with him?

TheEnforcer 05-04-2004 03:49 PM

Glad to hear your ok Gregg!!

A Mac10 is pretty small:

AMADude 05-04-2004 03:55 PM

Pornwolf 05-04-2004 03:56 PM

I think you'll find in Britain, like in Australia, that a firearm is not very often used in the commission of a crime.

Yes but can you go to a night club and not expect one of these lines:

"hey did you spill my pint?"
"oi mate you checking out my missus?"
"you checkin' out my slag mush?'

and not get in a fight? ;)

Lace 05-04-2004 04:15 PM

wow thats some crazy shit..keep the beretta stocked in the shoulder harness :thumbsup

Jdoughs 05-04-2004 04:17 PM

You can tell who here has a brain in there head

DO NOT buy a gun.

Then its not..."Its easy money, he keeps it under the desk"

It becomes "Yeah hes gotta peice to so you wanna catch him off guard and knock him a few"

Go with security systems, leave the security to the pros

GLAD YOUR OK GREGG!!

Rhino22 05-04-2004 04:19 PM

Glad you're okay. First of all, if I was in your position doing what you do, I would have a concealed weapons permit...

and after that mofo took off running out of my house I would shoot his ass in the back.

Just my :2 cents:

might want to take some little "advice" about that statement, when someone is fleeing the scene, armed or not - you put a bullet in them you're going to do the time, when someone has their back turned - especially leaving the situation your life is not in danger, so you're not using "reasonable force" as self defense.

so please never buy a gun.

I have to admit, what I said was a bit wrong. Just mad at these fucks who take from people who earn what they have.

Go with the security systems...but I still would keep a gun just in case. You never know if he will come back or not. Be ready to the fullest next time!

StRoGE 05-04-2004 04:51 PM

Forget buying a gun.
Your best bet, is the cameras. HOWEVER, I also highly suggest hiring armed private security for the shoots. Let the professional carry the gun. They have the training, they know the legal rights involved with shooting someone, and they have to deal with the consequences. Its also a tax hahahahahaoff in most cases :thumbsup and helps to keep other scum away aswell.
I think you'll find most prices are reasonable.

That would most likely be murder . . . it would be in CA

VicMartin 05-04-2004 05:06 PM

Time to pack some heat of your own.. don't ya think. What if he tells someone and then they comt to rob you? Or what if he says... let me try that sucker again... Next time you might not be so lucky.

Or.. you could not open the door for strangers.

There was no shoot going on, would not have helped much in this situation

Don't confront arrmed perpetrators without it.

Shoehorn! 05-04-2004 05:34 PM

Damn man, glad you're alright. Instead of security cameras, you should look into hiring bodyguards. Not only are they trained to kick ass, but you look cool as shit when you go out with two or three of them and they push people out of the way to let you through. :thumbsup

I agree. If you make alot of $$$, keep your lips closed tight about. I made the mistake of letting a 'friend' know what I was making and she leached off me big time. Never ever again.

Are you still in this house, or did they make you move?

Hate to say it, but if I didn't have a gun, I'd get one. I'd ditch the cash, too.
