I been programming since I was 9, I had a 91 GPA as of last year and I dont put 1 bit of effort into school. This year i have a 98 and I missed over 30 days. Now i'm not saying I do drugs, but if I did, they don't seem to be effecting me one bit!

Let people decide what they wanna do for themself and stop thinking your idea of what is right and wrong is 100% correct.

#2: no, I don't drink booze anymore because of being manic-depressive. It's like lighting the fuse to a bundle of dynamite. How people smoke packs of cigs every day, put excessive alcohol in their body, and do drugs day and night is beyond me.

Sort of true. It's illegal for me. Also it was such a problem that they actually made an ammendment to our fricken constitution to try and ban it! They never did that for drugs! The only reason it was unbanned is because banning it just caused more problems with organized crimes, bootlegging, and speak easies.

I don't think I can base my views on someone based on if they do drugs or not. Also you said all drugs in general. Theres very few people out there that would goto such extremes for pot as they would for herroin. And drugs effect people differently which cause them to act differently. To make a generic bases of how ones life is based on 1 thing is stupidity. Thats no better than the KKK saying that any none white prodisten is evil.

That is such bullshit. Pretty much all of my mates do drugs. Not one has ever been caught. Not one. Even the dealers i know have never been hassled.

Many many many successful people use drugs and are perfectly fine with it.

there is a huge gap between use and abuse.

It's easier to live in denial than make the hard changes to better your life. My advice, take the hard road.. the journey is just as rewarding as the destination though you wont see it until you pass the first few bends along the way.

whenever i get close to someone who uses drugs, i always make negative comments about it at least once or twice. after that i don't push anymore, but i just let them watch how i am able to enjoy my life just as fine while being sober.

So basically your only main argument is that drugs are illegal and you can go to jail or get killed because the fact they are illegal jacks up the price and creates an undeground industry willing to kill to protect their position?
