Basically someone asks for your input re what you're searching for and they guide you through the search process until you get where you want to go.

$5 is thinking more about a service where people that don't know how to find stuff too well, can call up and have a paid expert help them find what they want.

I think this is a great idea.. maybe still a little ahead of it's time, but I get people calling ME up all the time to help them find stuff online... or more often IM'ed.
