What's the Best DV Video Camera out.

Maybe some of you guys that shoot your own content can help me out with this. I shoot a lot of fun short films and a lot of stuff just for fun. But I am looking for the best DV video camera out. Any ideas anyone, Thanks.

It depends what you need it for.....

You will need to spend like $10,000 for the "best." But most likely that is not needed. Get a good Sony 3ccd or Canon 3ccd and you are set.

But yeah, bottom line is... For mainstream films, Panasonic DVX100-a is THEE BEST! Nothing else compares to that 3ccd camera. It is the ONLY digital camera under $25,000.00 to offer 24p recording(What 35mm Arri film cameras use) For content, Sony VX2100 is good... The panasonic can be had for around $2500.00 if you know where to get it. If you want it, hit me up on ICQ and i'll give you the link for it. Otherwise you'd be looking at around $3000.00... |
