$20 per sign-up on sites that charge $24.95 a month and no trial?

I'd think 50% recurring would be the better deal.

If you're going to do per sign-up on those sites, you should at least offer $24.95 per sign-up. You should still make a profit if the site retains members at all.

no trial I never use trials.. I convert with no trials.. and 20 is far.. the 4.95 pays for ccbill fee and my hosting for the first month... no profit.. till the rebill... why would I offer all the money on the first sign up?

To compete with all the programs out there that pay $15-$25 per sign-up on $2.95 trials, let alone a full-month membership.

Yah, you lose money or break even the first month but that's the cost of doing biz and getting more affiliates.

20 is fair... if you want no shaving.. all the people who offer have to be shaving... there is no way they stay afloat without doing it... so if you want 1/110 on dirtydanza.com and 1/300 on the others then send it this way... if you want shitty ratios.. or ratios that shave cause they have free trials and shit then be my guest but you will make more here

there is no way... I talk to a bunch of em and they shave... most people who join trials even me cancel within the time.. due to wanting to join another site... I retain really well and convert really well.. but no way I could compete with people like silvercash.. I am a one man show

Revshare really is the more attractive option with that. 20 dollars for a montly membership sucks. What's your average retention? Hell, all you need is 2 months average and you'd be making a profit on 30-35 dollar payouts, and that's taking into account processing fees and hosting.

I wouldn't even bother offering the PPS if i were you. It's really not worthwhile at all for only 20 dollars. Take a look at flashcash, for example. They pay 30 dollars per trial signup, and pay 50 dollars for a monthly membership. They can do this because every trial that becomes a montly membership will cover the cost of the 30 dollar payout, with a nice chunk of profit. That profit, along with say 2 months of retention will cover the trials that cancel. Anything on top of that is pure profit.

And 50 dollars per monthly.. Well they have obviously crunched their numbers over the years and calculated the average retention from surfers that initially signup for a monthly membership and can afford to pay webmasters 50 bucks.

That's how they can afford to pay what they pay. It's not shaving.

PPS has got to be worthwhile to the affiliate, or he just won't bother. I don't mean to offend, but $20 per monthly membership just makes your program look silly. I'd ditch it.

I figured there'd be a bunch of shit in this thread.

Listen guys, it's a unique site and that's a fair payout. Do the math on a 24.95 signup. Less fees and reserves, it's $20. That's basically like fronting the first two months at 50% less processing fees, which isn't a bad deal.

If you want 30-40-50 per sign up I'm sure there are lots of programs that will shave you silly. His offer isn't for everybody, but if you have the traffic for this niche you'd be foolish to not sent it in my honest opinion. The true test is to send traffic and look at the numbers. The bottom line might surprise you.

Brad
