Techies got a question regarding Wireless Network Setup
My cousin has a laptop hard wired to the cable modem. I got him a linkysy wireless router with the laptop card....
Ok do i have to configure the router initially via the network cable on the laptop then setup the wireless card or can i just plug and play and bypass that step? |

Hi juicylinks,
no need to configure via cable first. The router will have a default network/password setup for it and you can just set the wireless card to find and use that. Then configure the router from the wireless.

Setting up wireless on hahahahahahas can be a pain.
If it installs easilly, great, but if not, don't waste time. Setup using the wire, and make sure you have the router working. ![]()
