CCBill help

Our stats says that we have sent over 9000 hits to an affiliate this week. There's no way in hell we could've sent all those hits from the few ads we have pointing that way.

Have anyone of you experienced something like this, and/or does anyone have a clue on what might be causing it?

Have sent a mail to CCBill support, but don't expect an answer too soon That's why we are asking you guys and gals

I had a similar issue once, a couple of thousand hits had appeared on one particular sponsor only a couple of hours into the day (their time). ccbill tech support couldn't offer any extra information on where these clicks were coming from. The click count is a raw figure, which means that if someone repeatedly clicked a link (or more likely, a badly behaved site sucker) 1,000 times, it would add 1,000 clicks to the count.

Our click numbers have been really up and down lately, it's probably just a glitch.

Yeah, but this has been going on ever since we added the sponsor. It has been up for like 5 days and it records 1500 clicks/day. Something is wierd here...

why do you think that 9000 hits is impossible?

Because the only place we have the links are on hosted galleries on a TGP that currently has 6-7 k / day...

I see on annasdungeon.com you have a lot of galleries like this :

http: //refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=916156-0000&PA=629180&HTML=http://naughtyathome.com/galleries/bluebikini/tour1index.htm

I can be wrong but I think all those gallery clicks are counted as hits
