does anyone here actually own a datacenter? even if they did you would still have to go through a reseller as most datacenters wont talk to you unless you're renting out lots racks/cages.

This sounds rather impractical, handling new server installs and harddrive swaps sounds exactly like the NOC's tech guys responsibility, why buy a multi-hundred $ plane ticket and waste time on something as trivial as that?

Dude those battery banks are worthless what is that from the 70's. We use 1000HP generators I dont get the battery thing.
