Jessica is a good friend and a strong girl. She told me friday that this was all overwhelming to her, but that she'd be strong with it. Chances to get HIV through oral are really low. I know we discussed it in my class when the Barcelona AIDS conference was held in 2002. It exists but chances of it are REALLY low. Heres the study in question...

A very small proportion of persons seeking HIV testing engage exclusively in receptive oral intercourse . The very low probability of HIV infection in this sample confirms that orally acquired HIV infection is a rare event. The population attributable risk % for HIV due to receptive oral intercourse is 0.56% or less. Theres always a chance no matter what. They key is to lower the risks as much as we can. Testing every 30 days reduced the risk since the last outbreak was 1998-1999. Condoms will lower them even more. Only fail safe method is abstinence.

STD is the risk that porn actors take, everyone knows that. So you have to live with them and accept the risk. Cabbies risk getting mugged and lawyers risk going to hell, u just gotta live with your choices. Pretty simple if u ask me....

Well, I was behind you on the oral sex thing. Until this statement.

First, is intravenous drug users not anal sex. Second is anal sex then male to female vaginally. Though there isn't much difference. Female to male is much more difficult.

As for oral sex - yes there are trace amounts of the virus in saliva but it severly weakened. But there are no reported cases of someone contracting the virus by receiving a blowjob. There are a few reported cases of contracting the virus of giving oral sex (pussy eating or blowjobs), but they are very suspect because the saliva and stomach acids do break down the virus. The culprit in these circumstances are believed to be open sores in the mouth.

Vid, the second test came back negative on Teusday from DNA checks but I guess they checked RNA and came back positive on Wed. Im really not sure why they decided to give her negative results back on Teusday then call her Wed and say shes positive , but thats what happened

I would also say that when your profession is having sex, then you're number 1 risk is STD's and if you aren't doing everything possible to protect yourself from STD's then you are taking a huge risk on.
